Hi everyone,
It was great seeing our team come together and start to get our legs back this past week. As discussed at practice, please make sure your physicals and the various waivers/consent forms are up to date & uploaded to Magnus.
Reminder that masks are no longer required during practice. However you still need to arrive and depart campus with them on. Of course you're welcome to keep wearing a mask during practice if you choose to.
For week 2, we start the full week practice schedule as follows. This weekly reoccurring schedule will run through the end of July, save for holidays and unforeseen changes. We will notify everyone of variations from this schedule.
Monday
6:45a-7:30a: Swim / aqua jog in the pool. All levels welcome, not mandatory. It's a good way to get in extra work especially for dual sport athletes who spend extra "time on feet" as well as injurie prone runners. Meet at pool deck. Locker rooms are NOT available, we'll use the pool showers & bathrooms to change. Remember to bring goggles.
4:00p-6:00p: "Regular" running practice, all levels. Meet on the track.
Tuesday
Easy recovery run on your own
Wednesday
2:00p-3:00p: Weight room conditioning. This is for for JV/V "Group 1" only. Remember to bring a towel/rag & any bands & misc. equipment you have.
4:00p-6:00p: "Regular" running practice, all levels. Meet on the track.
Thursday
Easy recovery run on your own
Friday
4:00p-6:00p: "Regular" running practice, all levels. Meet on the track.
Saturday
9:30a-10:30a: Optional light run & drills, "Group 1" only
11:00a-12:00p: Weight room conditioning. This is for for JV/V "Group 1" only. Remember to bring a towel/rag & any bands & misc. equipment you have.
